MMBEN Summer Site Visit

This year the MMBEN return and are kindly funded by “Invest in Shropshire” where we will be visiting Fordhall Farm a community-owned, organic, working farm in rural Shropshire just outside Market Drayton.

The visit will give delegates opportunity to experience first hand operations of an organic farm as it navigates its way out of the Covid-pandemic and into the new normal.

1:30 – Welcome
Split into two groups
> 1 hour – farm tour
> 1 hour – activity in greenwood shelter

2.30pm – Drinks and cake in bunkhouse with talk on the bunkhouse sustainable construction

3pm groups swap
> 1 hour – farm tour
> 1 hour – activity in greenwood shelter

4.15pm – Wrap up and questions

Please note the aim is to be on site at Fordhall with all Covid-safety precautions in place.
