Floating Markets — Shropshire Union Canal

Market Drayton floating markets has the direct backing of the Canal & River Trust & Shropshire Council for this two-day market.
The Roving Canal Traders Association did announce that it would hold a floating market on Market Drayton’s canal, between Betton Bridge and Lloyds Bridge, during the Spring Bank Holiday, from May 29 to 31.
With lots of trading boats — interesting crafts present some amazing talent. Everything is different, unique and artisan… There is always a great range of items available for you to purchase on the day. The canal traders are always extremely welcoming!

The Shropshire Union Canal flows alongside a remarkably leisurely walk (5km) through Market Drayton. The locks, embankments and cuttings on this historic canal were designed by Thomas Telford.
