The annual Market Drayton 10K takes places on Sunday 8th May 2022 where we expect to see another sell out event with over 3000 runners taking part in the event. Runners from all over the country turn up to run the route which goes through Market Drayton town centre and ends up back at the school. Tim Beckett, race director, has been working hard behind the scenes to get the race going this year, and thanked his team of organisers, marshals and volunteers for their help.
Spaces are still available for the 2022 Market Drayton 10K race and the entry link can be found on our website, www.marketdrayton10k.co.uk.
There is also a fun run for all ages under 15 and the link for the fun run is also on the website.
The 10K event always need more help as a total of 150 personnel are required to put this race on. Tasks include helping put goody bags together, marshalling on the course, giving out race numbers and t-shirts and assist at the finish line.
