The postponed Market Drayton 10K race will now take place on 3rd October 2021.
I know this date isn’t ideal for some as it’s the same day as the London Marathon and Chester Half marathon to name a few, but every weekend through September and October have at least 2 major races taking place. The options below will mean you won’t miss out, and you won’t lose your money.
1. All those that have entered for the postponed race, your entry has automatically carried forwards to the new race date (3rd October 2021). You do not need to take any action. If unsure whether you have entered, contact the 10K team, details below.
2. If anyone can’t take part in the October 2021 race we will happily defer free of charge to the 2022 race which is to be held on Sunday the 8th May 2022. Contact the 10K if you wish to do this.
3. If anyone can’t take part on either of those dates, we do allow a free transfer of your place to another runner. Full details of how to request such a transfer are available on the FAQ page here.
4. If anyone requires a place for the 10K, we still have a few places available.
5. Please note that places for the 2022 race will not go on sale until sometime AFTER the 2021 race has taken place.
